The Branch Associate Processor position provides branch and loan processing support to Processors and Loan Officers. Fills out, verifies, compiles, inputs financial data and organizes all the paperwork and documents pertaining to mortgage loan applications. Communicates with branch and corporate employees and settlement agents in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.

Verifies that the correct templates and forms were selected for loan investor /program
Updates the Encompass milestones
Orders payoff (refinances only)
Orders and tracks receipt of Mortgage insurance, as needed
Orders and tracks receipt of transcripts, as needed
Orders and tracks receipt of title
Communicates with title for the uploading of documents
Orders any and all necessary verifications (written VOE, VOD, VOR)
Orders verbal VOE’s for all borrowers within 3 days of funding
Orders FHA case # and CAIVRS in FHA connection
Places appraisal orders as directed by the LO Team
Sends appraisals to the borrower upon receipt of the report
Orders final inspections as needed
Uses the Operations Worksheet in Encompass along with corresponding pipeline views
Requests hazard insurance with correct mortgagee clause (binder & paid receipt if purchase)
Reviews all documents for accuracy and completion upon receipt
Understands and strives to meet or exceed all operational metrics

Required Knowledge and Experience
Basic knowledge and understanding of conventional and government (FHA/VA) loan requirements
Basic knowledge and understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations
Basic knowledge and understanding of loan processing software systems
Basic knowledge and understanding of desktop underwriting programs preferred
Solid knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalency degree
Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data
Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment
Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience making sound business decisions with information available
Demonstrated experience with MS Office software products
Physical Environment
This position is primarily a work remote position
This position involves extended periods of time sitting at a computer in a desk
