The Wood Group was founded by Matt Wood in 2010 with a goal and vision to build the premier residential lending presence in the state of Texas focused on honoring God, enabling families to flourish, and earning the comprehensive trust of clients and business partners. As part of nationwide lending powerhouse Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, The Wood Group has grown from $10M in volume in 2014 to $1.83B in 2021, helping over 7755 families finance their homes! With headquarters in humble Belton, TX, the group has expanded all over the state of Texas with 18 total offices and a team of over 175 mortgage professionals.
