About Wendy
My name is Wendy Lucio, and I’ve lived in Belton since 2005. I’m blessed with a wonderful family that consists of two daughters, one son, one husband, and two doggos. In my free time, I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the mornings, listening to sermons in my car, spending time outdoors with my family (when it’s not 100 degrees), watching any and every movie, and eating good food – mainly pizza and cookies. One day, I hope to be able to move somewhere that has 4 seasons. I know that doesn’t sound very Texan of me, but I love cold weather, bundling up in all the warm clothes, and a good fire.
My work background includes all things finance. I worked as a teenager and throughout my college years at my dad’s CPA firm, and then got into HR later on in life. I’ve served as the Group Finance Manager at The Wood Group of Fairway since May 2017. Most get the title Finance Manager mixed up with someone who knows about loans, but I’m actually in the unique position of serving as the liaison between our Wood Group employees and corporate accounting, LO Comp, and payroll departments. I love helping my work family. If you’ve got any questions concerning loans, I’ll point you to a Loan Officer, but if it’s your paycheck, Compensafe, Workday, marketing accounts, creating and running reports, or crunching numbers – I’m your girl. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll help you find the answer by pointing you in the right direction.
My goal in life is to glorify God in all that I do and that includes my job and serving this community.
